The Meyer BL400 Baseline Tailgate Spreader 36100 offers an economical ice control for small to medium sized jobs. It is perfect for icy walkways, small parking lots and long driveways. This is an easy-to-use receiver mount spreader that attaches to any vehicle with a 2-inch receiver hitch. This spreader fits SUVs, light pickup trucks, tractors and utility vehicles.

The hopper is made of rust-proof high-density polyurethane and has a 400 lb. capacity. The hopper includes heavy duty lid locking straps to keep the hopper lid on tight and keep moisture out. The carbon steel hopper frame is powder coated with automotive style paint.

The Tailgate Spreader has a 9 inch diameter poly spinner, 1/8 HP direct drive motor, 12-volt electrical operating system and a variable speed in-cab controller to deliver a precised spread pattern up to 25 ft. The direct drive motor applies the torque directly to the auger to grind through large chunks of material. The auger provides an even flow of material to the spinner and is set-up to run bagged rock salt only. There is an optional flow gate available that can be used to spread other material. The tubular steel motor guard protects the electric motor and also serves as a storage stand when the spreader is not in use.

The hopper measures 36"H x 28"W x 28" D.
